In Santana, we trust!

Where to start with the magic that is Santana and his guitar playing? Well I guess I could start by saying no matter how you see it, or listen to it, Santana is a music well, endlessly\ deep with guitar riffs to be played with other musicians :D. Santana started out as a blues musician with a band that went under his last name. He is considered a pioneer of latin rock, using conga drums and other latin ethnic instruments in his music. Santana over the years has never really had a single most involved singer, always having a different singer for every other song. Usually any song Santana is involved in is his, because his mastery over guitar is that great XD. On a serious note, Santana will usually write songs, but has others sing, mainly because he is solely a guitarist. Though Santana has written countless songs, if he even wrote lyrics to it, he never sang himself, always having a guest singer. Early Santana

Santana credits his major influences as being Mike Bloomfield and B.B King, two artists who inspired him at a young age to play the guitar. Santana's signature blues riffs he has come up with today show that the lieks of BB King had somethign to do with his playing style lol.

Some of Santana's works include: Maria, Maria(featuring The Product G&B),Black Magic Woman, Why Don't You and I (featuring Alex Band), and Smooth, (Featuring Rob Thomas). All of these songs, not one of them has a formula that Santana reused. Each one is distinctive, liek a person amongst a crowd of peopel they would be difrferent from. Each song almost taking on its own personality. Santana's art truly shines through his guitar.

Well that takes care of that, Hows about a look through the other pages?
