As the late president and chairman of Capital Commercial Properties, Norman Ebenstein oversaw all aspects of the company’s retail development and leasing operations from his base in Boca Raton, Florida. The company’s holdings include residential properties, malls, and shopping centers in the Washington, D.C., area and the surrounding suburbs of Virginia and Maryland. Norman Ebenstein was also the late president of Eden Center, Inc., which operates a large and thriving commercial complex in Falls Church, Virginia known as Eden Center. Eden Center is retail hub for the region’s Asian communities, particularly its large Vietnamese-American population. Eden Center placed second in the contest for Best Washington D.C. area Shopping Center in the Washington City Paper’s Best of D.C. 2013 Reader’s Choice poll.
