NAMI-CEP is a non-profit organization that donates computers running the Linux operating system to people diagnosed with mental illnesses in the New River Valley area of Virginia.
Linux is a FREE UNIX-like operating system. We currently use (RedHat) Fedora Linux:
http://fedoraproject.orgNAMI-CEP is a project of NAMI of the NRV. NAMI-CEP trains clients in Linux, we also provide books for Linux training. Our goal is to further facilitate the mental health of our clients through the use of computers and Open Source technology.
