The premises were then described as the largest and the best in entire of North Britain. The repute of the company expanded horizontally such that an year later, the Chief Executive of Honda UK, Eric Sulley inaugurated the first ever Five Star Service Centre for Honda in that part of the country. This leap provided Colin Appleyard the momentum it was looking for.In 1979, Colin Appleyard first heard of Suzuki's plans to import cars in the country. And from thereon, what the executives said in the board meetings to what plans they concocted remains immaterial, for a revolution had begun. Colin Appleyard became Suzuki's first retailer in the UK and till this day, they remain the most favourable one goes to in times of vehicular need in the UK.
