Cougars fall to Chargers in Round 2 of Playoffs - finish season with an impressive 5-4 record.
The Cougars lost a hard fought game in round 2 of the playoffs to the Northeast Chargers on Nov 10, 2007 at Charger field. The game was well played and hard fought but the Cougars came up short in the end. The Cougars capped off a great 2007 football season and had 6 players named to the ALL STAR TEAM.

The Fort Sam Houston Cougar's finished the 2007 football season an impressive 5-4 (after beginning the season 0-2). The players came a long way and have a great deal to be proud of. Many of the players will be moving up to the 9-10 year old division and many will be returning to the 7-8 year old division next season. No matter the age group we know our players will continue to make us all proud.

COUGAR'S WIN PLAYOFF GAME 26-0
The cougars began the playoff's Saturday by hosting the San Antonio Broncos at Cole Stadium. The Cougar's built up a 20-0 halftime lead and cruised to a 26-0 victory. The Cougar offense regained it's swagger and moved the ball up and down the field. The Cougar defense pitched it's second shutout of the season.
The Cougar's will continue their playoff quest by traveling to the home of the second seeded Northeast Chargers this Saturday. The Cougar's are looking to avenge a 34-26 OVERTIME loss on September 22 at the hands of the Charger's.
