Cougars fall to Chargers in Round 2 of Playoffs - finish season with an impressive 5-4 record.

The Cougars lost a hard fought game in round 2 of the playoffs to the Northeast Chargers on Nov 10, 2007 at Charger field.  The game was well played and hard fought but the Cougars came up short in the end.  The Cougars capped off a great 2007 football season and had 6 players named to the ALL STAR TEAM.

Curtis Dozier (league selection) running back, Ethan Reyes, Michael Pataki, Jalin Cook, Faitasi Lefiti, and Wyatt Phillips - congratulations on your hard work and selection to the ALL STAR TEAM as representatives of the Fort Sam Houston Cougars

The Fort Sam Houston Cougar's finished the 2007 football season an impressive 5-4 (after beginning the season 0-2).  The players came a long way and have a great deal to be proud of.  Many of the players will be moving up to the 9-10 year old division and many will be returning to the 7-8 year old division next season.  No matter the age group we know our players will continue to make us all proud.
