Summer Music & Movies is presented by the Walker Art Center in partnership with the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board. By 2005, it turned into Movies & Music in the Park, with the help of Golden Resource for Education, Art and Theater (G.R.E.A.T.). The collaboration between the City of Golden and G.R.E.A.T. helped transform Movies & Music in the Park into the wildly popular event it is today. Each year, the City of Golden offers movie-lovers the Movies & Music in the Park series. We have lots of sheet music & songbooks, from rock, to Broadway, to country, to classical & jazz.
CIMMfest brings together movies about music, movies for music, movies of music, and movies capturing music as it is made.
