Over 65 years ago, Raptim pioneered the world of humanitarian travel by air. At a time when ships were the only means of traveling to developing countries, our founders chartered a Dakota to fly missionaries from Amsterdam to Entebbe. Thanks to Raptim’s vision, humanitarian travel would change forever.

More than 25 nationalities work at our offices around the world. Ongoing staff training takes place at our center in Africa, where our people share best practices – and have the opportunity to visit local humanitarian projects to gain more insight into our clients’ fieldwork. We take a customized approach on your ground transportation needs and source local arrangements that best meet them.We help those traveling to help others do this in the most socially responsible way possible through our participation in the Climate Neutral Group. CNG is a member of ICROA, which helps maintain carbon offsetting according to internationally recognized standards and administered processes.The responsibility for the welfare of our travelers is of the utmost importance for Raptim.
