The Progression of Aircraft

The first aircraft to ever fly was an aircraft made from spruce trees and cloth. The famous flight at Kitty Hawk landed the Wright Brothers in the history books, with the first flight with a heavier than air aircraft. The flight lasted 12 seconds and flew for 120 feet. Today modern aircraft such as the A-380 has a longer wingspan than that of the first flight and can fly over 8,000 feet without refueling.
