Training Process

Introducing the crate to our pets

To begin with this is where trust gets in introducing your pet to a crate is really hard at first. Place a blanket in it and remove the door if necessary for comfort of our pets.

•Feeding your pet within the crate

When your pet comes in and out on its own, you may start putting their food inside and leaving the door open to avoid stress. Then after they get in immediately close the door, once finished open the door immediately.

•Extending the crate time

Now that your pet is comfortable in its crate and shows no sign of anxiety, then this is a good sign that you can extend their stay. Make it a habit to feed them and lure them inside the crate with a toy.

•Putting your pet in the crate when you are away

At this stage your pet has already learned to like his crate while you leave your home. You won’t be bothered anymore with the idea that your dog might make a mess of the house when you leave.
