Introduction
This project is about creating a web page introducing an endangered species. This project was was required by Mr. Lopez, a Web development and Design teacher at Sweetwater High School.
In this Web site I will introduce my endangered species: the Bee Hummingbird. The reason I choosed the Bee Hummingbird was because it is an amazing bird, which is known to be the smallest bird, that is endangered due to human-destruction.

Bee Hummingbird
The Bee Hummingbird, also known as the Mellisuga helenae, is a beautiful bird with a variation of different colors. It has a mass of approximately 1.8 grams and 5 centimeters long making it the smallest living bird. Its straw-like tongue the bird sucks up the nectar, their main alimentation, from the flowers. While their feeding themselves, the birds collect pollen on its bill and head. When the hummingbird flies from flower to flower, it transfers the pollen taking an important role in plant reproduction. Hummingbirds can visit up to 1,500 flowers in one day.
