Ten Commandments of Advising
The goal of this tutorial is to help new employees at Iowa Central Community College identify the different policies and procedures needed to advise students. The ten commandments of advising have been developed to help advisors better comprehend and understand the important aspects of an advising position. Paper has been provided in your new employee handbook for this exercise. Participants should feel free to take notes in preparation for the quiz given at the end of the tutorial. Upon completion return the answers to your quiz to Stacy Mentzer, BHS 207 via the intercampus mail.
