What do you see?

A girl shy, but bold

A girl who doesn’t really like cold

My life was lonely

I was wishing and thinking if only

Then to my surprise my life was turned upside down

Twisted and turned around

Now I am not as lonely

But I am still thinking if only

Now I want you to see

How much you mean to me

I work at a Pathmark, and one of our regular morning customers is a nice, yet sometimes annoying customer. However, today she was telling one of my bosses she needs to go to the doctor about her leg, which isn't in great shape. She thought she was going to need to have her leg amputated. She said it in her usual happy-go-lucky manner, however, as she was leaving I think she was holding back from crying. I felt badly about it, and I was hoping everyone can think well for her or pray for her...if you don't mind

Love burning bright

And he is out of sight

A life taken from its peak

He was strong, not weak

Gentle tears fall down our faces

We see him in so many places

Given time we will heal

Our sadness we cannot conceal

Unending sleep has taken his pain

As gentle as the morning rain

For now he can rest

In Heaven he is a welcome guest

One day again we will meet

I will rush to you with tears to greet

You laugh at me and ask why these tears?

Don’t you know I’ve been with you all these years?

That day will give me delight

To see you there will be such a sight

But until that day

“I love you,” is all I can say.

As days go on

Nights feel oh so long

My uneasy heart does not rest

I fear I cannot give you my best

What fills my heart with such dread?

Hope for our future I fear is dead

I am like a lost soul wandering through space

I long to know the calm of grace

My mind is split into two

Every time I think of you

One believes we are meant to be

Another believes only away can I be free

I long for dreams

It is not as funny as it seems

Wanting and waiting for Prince Charming

My desire for the unknown is alarming

I don’t know what to do

I know I never want to hurt you too

I want to live my life the way it is meant to be

With or without you I need to be me

You are both right yet wrong for me

My mind is longing to be free

Caught between thoughts of pleasure and pain

I feel like I’m caught in the pouring rain

Cold and alone

Rain can be as unforgiving as stone

Given time will I reveal

The answers my heart chose to conceal

We differ in ways I cannot forget nor forgive

My heart just yearns to live

To live in love as never before

I want oh so much more

I want a passionate love that burns in my soul

A passionate love to make me whole

I need to find out who I am

So what I feel cannot be a scam
