Video Gaming in 2019
While there are multiple video games to be scheduled in the year 2019, we have plently of series updates with new installments and potentially new games coming out for multiple franchises. These include, Age of Empires, Aion, AdVenture Capitalist, Black Desert, Bloodstained, Borderlands, Crash Bandicoot, Final Fantasy, Gears of War, Guild Wars 2, God Eater, Kingdom Hearts, Luigi's Mansion, Mario Party Series, Marvel Series, MediEvil, Metal Knight, Mortal Kombat, Naruto Series, Ori, Persona, Pokemon, Resident Evil, Rocket League, Sonic the Hedgehog, Star Wars Games, Tom Clancy's The Division, Total War, Two Point Hospital, Umihara Kawase, Wasteland, World of Warcraft.
There are many types of Games genres which falls under the 6 main categories.
These include:
1. Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO)
These games are played over a LAN (local area network) or via the Internet. The most noticeable titles are Guild Wars 2, Final Fantasy XIV and World of Warcraft. The most common Models are Buy to Play, Pay to Play and Free to play. These games are based on building a character and infinitely progressing through the never-ending world that they set into.
2. Simulations & Sports
Simulation games include simulating the real life, whether it is vehicles, ships aircraft or they can be of farms, workshops, sports, restaurants. Some popular titles include Farmvil, Big Pharma, Two Point Hospital, AdVenture Capitalist or many of the Typcoon Games and FIFA Soccer Games.
3. Role Playing Games (RPG)
PG are usually Single Player Games which are often set in the Fantasy or Sci-fi Settings. There usually require the player to complete an objective whether it is via killing quests or puzzles or to find certain objects in the world. These games always have a backstory of the world and Lore Filled.
4. Real-Time Strategy (RTS)
Real Time Strategy Games usually always allow the player to amass their items, armies and inventory alike strategy games and fight in real time. There are popular RTS games such as Warcraft 3 (which is getting a new version in 2019 called Warcraft 3 HD). Civilization and for classics such as Age of Empire.
5. Puzzle Games
Puzzle Games comes in all sort and sizes. Whether they are Brain Games or skilled based. These games are usually level layered from beginner to expert. Some may have shapes or simple actions or others may contain shapes.
6. First Person Shooters (FPS)
FPS are games where the game is viewed through the player's eyes, as you see everything as you would see in reality. One of the major drawbacks and deal breakers is that at times there are none to limited customization to the character's avatar and not be able to see it in the game while playing as opposed to an MMORPG like Black Desert where customization is plenty to outfits to the color detail to the avatar design to the weapons, even pets has their own colors and tier brackets.
