Points To Keep In Mind For Maintenance Of Your Spa

You should keep the following points in mind if you want to do the maintenance of your spa in a very easy way

You should check your water every day. The pH level in your water should be within 7.2 to 7.8. the level of calcium in your water should be within 125 to 400ppm range and the alkaline content within 120 to 180ppm

You should give your spa some time to heat up instead of heating it up abruptly, this would help in saving energy

You’d have to set the level of chemicals in your spa water two times a week at least. You should keep the level of chemicals balanced.

You would have to change your spa water at least four times a year. It depends on how much your spa is used.

You should put an insulating cover over your spa, the onetime cost might deter you from buying one but you should keep in mind that it would reduce your electricity bill to a considerable extent thereby saving you a lot of money. It is also an eco friendly solution as it helps in lesser consumption of energy.

You should condition your hot tub at least once in a month. It will protect the vinyl from breaking

You should adjust your spa water’s chemicals in alphabetical order. At first you should adjust the alkalinity of the water, then bromine and chlorine and then calcium and in the end, the pH.

You should treat your spa water one chemical at a time. After adding one chemical, you must maintain a gap of two hours before adding another chemical. Maintaining this gap helps in reducing the risk of harmful chemical reaction and also makes the chemicals work effectively.

Last but not the least, the chemicals you’d be buying for your spa must be from a spa store only. The stuff sold by the hardware stores may not be as good and hence you should strictly avoid buying those from a hardware store.

You’ll find many shops at Levis selling spa chemicals. Also you’ll find other good quality Entretien Spa Lévis.
