We have been dating since May 29th, 2004 when Joshua was stationed at Coast Guard Island in Alameda, Lauren's hometown. In July of 2005 we moved to New Orleans, well actually just outside in Destrehan. Yes, that's right we moved to New Orleans a little over a month before Hurricane Katrina. Luckily, our house was not destroyed, but that first year in Louisiana was really difficult. For the last three years Lauren has been in Law School, set to graduate in May, after which we are moving back to the San Francisco Bay Area.
