Feeling Sick?
Bloodletting can cure your pain!
With bloodletting a doctor opens a vein in the arm, leg or neck with small, fine knife called a lancet. They will tie off the area with a tourniquet and, holding the lancet delicately between thumb and forefinger, strike diagonally into the vein.
When a person is sick blood and other bodily fluid are considered to be "humors" whose proper balance maintained health. Sick patients are thought to have an imbalance of their humors, which bloodletting can restore.
Bloodletting is use to cure different pains such as ; headaches, backaches, fevers and even to treat bone fractures and other wounds.
So next time your feeling really sick, just ask your doctor for this
procedure!
