I chose a box design layout. I wanted this design because I like that it allows the eyes to rest by not having to look all over the sides for information, as everything is in the middle. I chose to use a sidebar for my navigation because of the amount of links. This allows them to be spread out a bit better than top navigation.
My inspiration was brandneusense.com, though I don't know yet how to create a fun box such as the one on this site.
