Welcome To Acadiana!
This is the area of South Louisiana that stretches from New Orleans to the Texas border. My ancestors came to this area mainly from Nova Scotia but also directly from France. The area is rich in culture, rather in the form of art, music or architecture. I will take you on a tour of some area plantations and show you some of this culture. We will be visiting:

• Oak Alley Plantation
• Houmas House
• Nottoway Plantation
• San Francisco Plantation.
