KC2MRU - I received my Call sign on March 18 , 2004 and I've been enjoying the Hobby ever since . On March 9, 2007 ... I upgraded my license from a Technician to a General Class license , and I've been working on learning CW lately.

KC2ZES - I just received my Call sign on September 30, 2010 , and I've been enjoying both the Hobby , and the people that I've met since I first received my license .

We're both members of a local ham club that's called A.R.A.S.T. , and

we wanted to create this site to help anyone that's new to the hobby , or needs a little info about the local area . We always make sure to tell friends and people that we meet that we're Ham Operators , and we're always willing to take a minute to explain what we do and how much fun it can be . In our area there are a few different repeaters we like to talk on ... their frequencies are :

1.) 146.895 & 146.970 from Tompkins County

2.) 145.130 in Sayre/Athens PA. , this is ran by the G.V.A.R.C.

3.) 146.700 & 147.360 These two are ran and kept up by the A.R.A.S.T. club

4.) 147.015 in Corning , N.Y.

The 147.360 is linked to the Echolink system and you can find the Node Number under WA2NTK . You'll find more information about these repeaters on my Repeater Page . There are a lot of Amateur Operators out there for anyone new to the Hobby to talk with on any of these frequencies . Please look around the site , and I hope you enjoy it .
