In essence, VE LED lights have a dynamic appearance that is bold and dominating, as it is constructed to appear much greater than its predecessors.The VE LED lights have an angular front, which lends it a polished profile, creating it to have the appearance of a coupe. In 1999, Holden had its designers and engineers begin the groundwork for the look of the VE Commodore.Although it took seven years to evolve, Holden held no bars to compose the VE Commodore by spending well over 1 billion and carrying out over 3.4 million kilometers (2.1 million miles) of testing on it.

It was in 1999 that Peter Hughes, Holden's exterior design manager, composed a two-dimensional representation of the VE drawing that Michael Simcoe, Holden's design director, had constructed. Holden's Special Vehicles decided upon a different sheet metal to remodeled the tail lights. The newer different sheet metal was a novel approach for HSV, as it had not used it earlier.

The HSV VE lights were a rectangular shape, and the company had it circle around the rear of every vehicle. The lamps had twin round LED lights that were very much akin to the Nissan Skyline. The HSV tail lights differ, for they cannot be managed to be put on standard Commodore models. The remaking of the VE LED lights did not stop at just the tail lights, but the headlights were too remodeled. As previously done, luxury models were decorated with different VE LED lights.


Holden Lighting
The lower-base models featured black reflector headlights, while the luxury models of the VE Commodore and SSV had an outstanding projector lamp that was centred, offsetting the aggressive look.
The VE LED lights are always a loved feature of the VE Commodore.
