                                                                                                          EDUCATION

 

 1954—1964 - Secondary school, Dushanbe.

 

 1965—1971 - Geological Faculty, Tajik National University.

 

 1978—1981 - Post-graduate Course, Institute of Geology,  Academy of Science, Tajikistan.

 

 1982                 defended the thesis for Candidate degree (PhD) on "Early Devonian conodonts of western part of Zeravshan - Hissar Region and their stratigraphic significance".

 

 

 

                                          EMPLOYMENT

 

  

 

1962—1967 - turner, metal worker, route worker, field worker, Institute of Geology,  

 

                        Acad.Sci.,Tajikistan.

 

 

 

1967—1976 - junior technician-geologist, technician-geologist,  senior technician-geologist,    geologist, Geological Department, Republic of Tajikistan; geological survey and prospecting.

 

 


1976—1997 - chief geologist of Stratigraphical Crew, Head of Stratigraphical  Crew, 

 

                        Geological  Department, Republic of Tajikistan; Paleozoic conodonts and  

 

                        stratigraphy of Central Asia.  

 

 

 

1997—      till now   - senior research worker, leading research worker Institute of Geology, Academy of Science, Tajikistan, Paleozoic conodonts and stratigraphy of  Central Asia. 

 

 

 

             Vice-chairman of Paleontological Society of Republic of Tajikistan, member of International Paleontological Association, International Pander Society, corresponding member of  International Subcomission on Devonian Stratigraphy; member of Emsian and Frasnian working groups of  SDS. 

 

  

 

       Took part  in  International field session of SDS in Samarkand (1978), XXVIIth Geological Congress in Moscow (1984), International Senckenberg Conference in Frankfurt/Main (1988, 1997, 2001), International Conference IGCP project № 421 in Vienna (1997) and Esfahan  (1998) and many other geological and paleontological conferences and symposia.

 

   Married. 4 children, 6 grandchildren.
