Thank you for coming to our Church web site for information about your joining with St Michael Christ Progressive Catholic Church or your Church joining with The St Michael Progressive Catholic Church, and coming under our Catholic Jurisdiction.

Within this web site you will find our Statement of Faith, Our Doctrinal Beliefs and Standing, and what we expect of a Parishioner (Member of our Church and what we expect of a Church within our Catholic Jurisdiction.

The most important, basic, items are who we are as a Progressive Catholic Body of Jesus Christ and what we do as a Church and as Members of a Church are listed below.  Before considering coming into our Church Body, understand some simple applications of the Christian Faith that we expect of everyone within our Church to apply in their daily lives:

• 1.  We accept Everyone in our Church as long as they confess the faith as a Catholic;
• 2.  Accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior;
• 3.  That you are required to be Baptized in the Catholic Faith, confess with your tongue that Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Jesus Christ from the dead;
• 4.  That in three days Jesus arose from the dead and ascended into Heaven;
• 6.  That Jesus now sits on the right Hand of the Father speaking and interceding on our behalf;
• 7.  That Mother Mary, the Queen Mother of Jesus Christ, the Queen mother of the Catholic faith, conceived Christ Jesus as a Virgin in the immaculate conception, watches over us, and through Jesus Christ, intercedes on our behalf;
• 8.  That you believe in the Father, The Son, and the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) - the Holy Trinity;
• That you believe and accept with all of your Heart that our Statement of Beliefs and Faith, Church Canons, and Doctrinal Standing and Position is the Law that governs and guides our Faith, Church, and its Leaders;
• 9.  That you have unconditional love, compassion, and acceptance of others;
• 10.  That we are commanded to humble ourselves in humility and servitude helping the less fortunate of the world;
• 11.  That our overall commitment to God is to witness to others and share the Good News of Jesus Christ, and do the will of the Lord;

The one, core, component of our Faith, is that WE ACCEPT EVERYONE AND WE SERVE EVERYONE!

Many people have been subjected to humiliation, harm, ridicule, and many attempted suicide, for who they are as a person.  Many governments condemn people to die for who they are or are cast-out of society, making them beg on the streets and are stripped of their dignity because of who they are.  Many mainline Catholic and Protestant Churches do not even allow a person in their Church if the person is dirty and soiled and is wearing dirty and soiled clothes.  Most people coming out of jails and prisons are shunned by society once they are free and have served their sentence in full, only to be forced into a situation where they cannot get a job or a meal to feed themselves and are forced on the street to beg for survival.  Many, many, many people are living below the poverty level or living on the streets with families and nowhere to go.  Almost all of these people and many people who have jobs and can sustain themselves, are lost in their walk in life.  They need encouragement, hope, and a vision for a brighter future, but do not know where to find the peace in their lives that will give them encouragement, hope and a vision for the future.  Jesus Christ will give everyone who asks, a new hope in life, to keep them moving forward to positive goals.  It is these people that come to us to join St Michael Christ Progressive Catholic Church to become a part of the Catholic Faith family as Members or to join our Clergy Team and become Novices and Priests or to a higher calling.

We welcome everyone, and for those who have the desire by God to become a Priest or hold another position on our Clergy Team, we choose those who God has called to the Mission to become part of our Clergy Team.  Again... we accept all who want to become a Member of our Church Body - WE WILL NEVER REFUSE NO ONE!!!

If you would like to join our Church as a Member, or your Church would like to become a Church under our Catholic Jurisdiction, then YOU agree and adhere to our Doctrinal and Faith Belief and Doctrinal policies and the Catholic Canons that we adhere to (which is very much in-line with the Roman Catholic Canons, but with some differences).
