Heritage Institute of Management and Communication (HIMCOM) is a professional mass communication college in Delhi established in the year 2012 with a vision of providing skilled media professionals to the industry. It has been three successful years since HIMCOM is running media courses and it has already won accolades for its different, exhaustive and interactive teaching methodology. Apart from other honours like Best Media Institute in Delhi/NCR, recently, on August 22, 2015, the contribution of HIMCOM to the skill development of media professionals was recognized with the ‘Most Promising Institute of Media Education’ award by Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Association. The prestigious award was given away by Shri Shivakant Ojha – Minister of Technical Education (U.P. Government); Shri Sameer Kanwar – Managing Director, Global Apar Technologies; and Shri Saurabh Sanyal – Secretary General, PHD Chamber, at National Summit on Industry-Academia Integration & Awards held at PHD Chamber of Commerce, New Delhi.
