This site is dedicated to the idea that it matters what we say and when we say what we say in public: WE ARE THE LEAGUE OF THOSE WHO CARE and this is our manifesto:  It matters when you take a cell phone call in public. It matters to those who love you and even to those who don’t. It matters what you talk about and when. No one eating with you wants to know how your aunt’s colonoscopy is holding up.  No one struggling with heavy school loans wants to learn how you aced it at the local casino  and the hot date that went with the win. It’s all too depressing. PLEASE REMEMBER: all personal information should remain so: we do not want to know how you are doing at the bank, with your job, your lover, or your siblings. We really don’t want to know how far in debt you are or your eminent divorce/separation: We’ve been there and done that. No one needs the reminders. In short: keep it simple; keep it quiet; keep it free from  bad language and the too personal. The League of Those Who Care asks YOU to care and THINK how what you are planning to say or are saying impacts the mental (spiritual) environment you inhabit. If you discipline yourself to care about those around you (others), that may broaden to CARING about your town, your state, your country, the world.
What a wonderful thought to hold the next time you hit “accept.” The League of Those Who Care will LOVE you for it and so will all those within earshot.
