Welcome
Now Playing: Intro to the site

For those of you who happen to care, our blog is done by two people, Andreas and Brent (myself).  Seeing our undying affinity for cinema, we decided to create a blog on which we could share our opinions, thoughts and critiques of movies.  We will try to be quite universal in our selection and address a majority of times and places.  Unfortunately, I don't think either of us are up to date on Bollywood, but we'll manage to work around that.

As of today, I'd like to bring your attention to two new movies.  One is already in theaters; the other is soon to come out.  The first is Shotgun Stories.  Unfortunately, I have not yet seen this film, but the reviews, synopsis and trailer make it out to be quite the film.  I highly suggest you make a trek to the site to get a glimpse of what I’m talking about: http://www.shotgunstories.com/

The second movie I’d like to give a heads up for is The Fall.  A film by director Tarsem.  Tarsem himself has only done one other movie, being The Cell staring J. Lo.  While that movie lacked in acting ability and plot, the set direction and design was unique and flawless.  The website for the fall will be able to tell you more about the film than I can right here, but this is a film I have been highly anticipating for the past few months. In Bruges: Review
Mood:  surprised

Alright, so this is our first real review and blog type thing as we go out and about to watch movies and review them.  So this past weekend I went and saw the movie "In Bruges" which surprisingly turned out better than I thought.

The movie ended up surprising me mostly because I do not feel Colin Farrell is an exceptional actor, however, in "In Bruges" he does an excellent job of portraying an Irish hitman.  The movie makes for a solid comedy that also gives a view into a darker side of life.
