Remove the Lid from the Hard Drive, remove the magnet, unscrew and remove screws from the head connector, remove the head connector. To mount the tool, push its axis through the smaller hole on the head arm. Slide the tool so the snouts go between the heads. Place securing pin through the hole to “lock” the tool in place. Remove the brake and slide the heads slowly off the ramp. While holding the head arm from the top remove the screws that’s holding the head arm from the bottom. Use tweezers to lift the head assembly, put head assembly to a patient hard drive and HDD Regenerator, while holding the head arm from the top, tighten the screw that’s holding the head arm from the bottom. Push the heads and hold them over the ramp while putting the brake to its place. Remove the security pin, scroll the tool away from the heads and pull it up to dismount it, put the head connector back to its place.
Put the screws back on the head connector and tighten them, put the magnet back and close the lid. Now head replacement process – Remove the hard drive lid, unscrew and remove screws from the magnet and from the head connector. To mount the tool, push its axis through the smaller hole near the centre of the head arm. Apply light pressure on the tool’s handle, HDD Regenerator and push the tool so the snouts go between the heads. Place securing pin through the hole to “lock” the tool in its place, remove the magnet and let the heads slide off the ramp. Lift the head connector with and move heads away from the ramp. While holding the heads away from the ramp use a standard flat head screwdriver to unscrew the head arm from the casing, use tweezers to lift and remove the head assembly. Put the head assembly to its place in a patient hard drive, Use a screwdriver to screw the head assembly to the casing. Move the heads over the ramp and return the head connector to its place, put the magnet back to its place, remove the security pin. Scroll the tool away from the heads and pull it up to dismount it, put the screws back on the head connector and magnet and tighten them, close the lid. Tighten this screw to perform the tool installation, while holding the back slide of the head arm, slide the tool over the platters, hold the back side of head arm to assure that the tool lifts the head and not push them.
