I haven't always been an open book of information on dogs.
Let me take you back a few years to when I was just a child. I was taught by my family, that dogs were not nice, that they would bite if ever I tried to go near one. So because of that I was scared of dogs. That and because a German Shepard had ran me over and made me fall on my kester at about 4 years of age. Now lets forward to 1997 when I had my first encounter with a dog that was made positive. I had met a yellow lab named Luke who was a fat fur ball of wet kisses. Meeting Luke was the turning point for me and dogs. Then in 1999 I had my first lab. I was so excited about her as soon as I hear about her. She was a sweet black lab named smoky who's family was moving and couldn't take her. I went home and described her to my husband and we wanted to go get her. We got her and life has not been the same since. Since her I have learned how to give vaccinations, stitch up wounds, staple other injuries, trained several personal dogs and learned from others. So now I am going to try my best to put all these random thoughts and what I was taught into words on the following pages. If at any time you are ever wondering about something feel free to contact me as I would like this to be chalked full of information and knowledge for you to use. I would like to take a moment to inform you that I am not a vet, certified trainer or anything special. I am just a dog lover who has sponged up so much information that I am always ready with some trick up my sleeve and if I don't know the answer, I head to the world wide web, friends and my beloved vet, Dr Jean at Grassland Vet in Granton, WI.

My Schooling.I didn't complete high school. I was a drop out and received my GED January 97 I then began collage in law enforcement, switched a year later to Early education. Then married and worked in daycares.
Why no skin-kids.Early on we learned that that infertility was in our future. through many treatments nothing came of it so now I have my furbabies and live the pregnancies and babies as though they were my own.
