Divorce Attorneys Excited at Todd Haley’s Appointment as the New Steelers Offensive Coordinator

The world of the NFL is abuzz with the news of the Pittsburgh Steelers appointing Todd Haley as their new offensive coordinator. Divorce attorneys, keen followers of the game as they are, are also excited at the prospects that Haley’s appointment augur for the team.

High Expectations

Todd Haley, formerly with the Kansas City Chiefs, is going to take the place of Bruce Arians who has joined the Indianapolis Colts. Haley’s task is cut out – he has to improve upon the performance of the Steelers offensive lineup that had notched up to 325 points in the last season before rounding up the season with a 12-4 record. Divorce attorneys wonder if Haley is up to the challenge.

Todd Haley’s Record

Todd Haley has a diverse skill set and these have been proven time and againduring his stints with the Arizona Cardinals in 2007-08 and then with the Kansas City Chiefs. He can successfully direct both passing offenses, which he did for the Cardinals, and running offenses, his forte when he was with the Chiefs. In fact, during his tenure, the Cardinals garnered a reputation for playing one of the most dangerous and certainly the most innovative passing games in the league. Their passing attack was ranked an admirable fifth in the League in 2007 and a devastatingly effective second in 2008. That is impressive. Now he has Roethlisberger to work with, which should be impressive.

A Proud Franchise

With such a track record, it is only natural that much will be expected from Haley. Divorce attorneys, with their finger on the stats of the game, hasten to remind Haley that the Steelers lost to the Baltimore Ravens in their AFC North title match and were chucked out from the postseason by the Denver Broncos (mainly because of injuries, the Broncos went on to get smashed by the Patriots). The Steelers definitely have a lot to catch up on; can Haley lead the way? Well, he needs to get Mendenhall healthy for one.
