30th Grand National tries new venues
Numerous honors were presented during Saturday evening's awards banquet by the Grand National Waterfowl Association, with recognition for that GNWA's efforts by the Maryland General Assembly, presented by Sen. canada goose norge Richard Colburn, R37MidShore, and Del. Swann said other members from the GNWA stepped up and sign ups joined the business, making it possible to continue to provide excellent hunting opportunities at prime spots throughout Dorchester County.In its 30th year, the GNWA selected new venues for events, most notably, moving the primary public event, its Grandtastic Jamboree, towards the East New Market Volunteer Fire Department's wellappointed fire house, completed this past year.The new location for the Jamboree allowed for varied settings during the event with dancing in the fire truck bays (with the trucks removed for that occasion) and dining in the firehouse's community hall.canada goose oslo,The GNWA's Turlock Luncheon Saturday was set at Robert and Dottie Bromwell's home at Ragged Point, while an Annie Oakley Luncheon occured at Minnette Dick Hall, even the setting for banquets Thursday and Saturday evening.GNWA 2012 Hunt Director Randy White said Friday proved the best day for hunting, with overcast skies and virtually no wind.
