First question!

So it's my first post here. I'm still trying to learn how to use Angelfire properly, so sorry for any mistakes. Anyway, today we're going to take a look at a very quizzical question that asks a lot about a person. All of the data for the poll statistics are took from a reliable place, so you know it's very accurate. The question we're going to look at today isn't more of a weird question or a funny question, but a simple question that can tell you a lot about a person.

The question being asked in this poll is "When were you born?". A very simple question to ask someone, and a very simple question to answer. However, from this poll we can see what age group tends to frequent the internet as well as polling sites on the internet. The answer is ultimately very easy to see, with one choice out of the four accounting for more than 75% of the poll's answers.

The choices on the poll were 1980 or before, 1981-1990, 1991-2000, and 2001 and after. After being voted on by over 200,000 people, you can see the results of the poll quite easily. It's not even close: 1991-2000 has 77% of the votes, accounting for over 75% of the total votes on the poll. Although the other choices are much lower, let's take a look at how often they were picked. 1981-1990 was the second highest choice, with 13% of the votes. Only 10% of the votes is left, 7% of which is due to 2001 or after, and 3% of which is due to 1980 or before.

As you can obviously see from this poll, people from the ages of 13-23 tend to  frequent the internet much more than other people of any age group. Their lead is absolutely insurmountable at this point. The other choices don't even compare. You can tell from this poll however, that teenagers and people in colleges or universities (young people in general), tend to spend a lot more time on the internet and polling sites. You could also infer that older people (30+ years) don't tend to spend very much time at all on these kind of sites. It's always interesting to look at polls this way to try and come up with interesting information on the topic.

Second question:

In this article we're going to take a look at a very weird question, that could also pass off as being serious if one looked at it in that way. The question is one that's asked quite a lot, but nobody would answer it the same way in front of a police officer. Luckily on the internet the people answering these questions can remain anonymous and don't have to show off what they think to everyone. The poll statistics and numbers for this poll come from WeirdPoll, so we can trust that they're fairly accurate and are portrayed in an unbiased light.

The question we're going to look at today is "If you could do whatever you want and you would get away with it, what would you want to do most?". This question is very interesting and tells a lot about a person. It's amazing to see that certain people would like to commit crimes, and the evidence and statistics of this question are quite interesting. Let's take a look at the poll results now to see what people said about this question.

For this question, there were four answers people could choose; steal, abuse someone sexual, kill someone, or none. You'd probably assume that the most chosen answer would be none, but that's not true in this case, amazingly.

The most selected answer was "steal", with 31% of the votes. Although this is very surprising to a lot of people, the poll is very close among each choice. The second most chosen choice was "none", with 28% of the votes. In a close third place, "abuse someone sexual" acquired 25% of the votes. In last place, with a crazy 17% of the votes, was "kill someone".

Honestly this poll surprised a lot of people. It's very surprising to see that 17/100 people would kill someone if they could get away with it. It's also amazing that 31/100 people would steal something if they wouldn't be caught, and 25/100 people would abuse someone sexually if they had the opportunity to. Out of everything polled, 72/100 people would indeed commit a crime if they had the chance to do it and would never be caught. That's an amazing statistic that definitely requires a lot of thought in the future.
