What went wrong and who's fault is it? It is a radically changing society and economic picture - YOU are forgiven! Well great - how are you going to have some kind of retirement? Does this article have some answers? Are you asking the right questions?

The answers to the problem of NOT being a "Spring Chicken", and NOT making money? It may be a clear "re-think" of what matters, without a lot of "clatter" from your pre-supposed ideas. So open your mind a bit and let's see what is possible? This is a consumer nation. About 70% of everything that makes the economy go around is the consumer, consuming. So what?

Who, (until recently) was the big consumer group? Who has the money in the society? And what are they doing now? I'm a Baby Boomer too. Yes, something like 77 million of us have filled every little bit of living spaces! We are suddenly looking around thinking how we can slim down our crap, get over our bad backs, and somehow make tracks back to our 30s, aren't we?

Where does all that "stuff" go? Have you thought about that? It's in the garages, spare rooms, storage holes, alley ways, backyard sheds, attics and basements all over this country. It's BILLIONS in inventory, waiting for you to buy it and resell it.

As a family (my family) we study, do, and then help other do "Micro-biz" or "Build Your Own Job". I have two nephews. Carter asked my wife Julie last summer: "Aunt Julie, what can I do to make money." Julie said: "I have a hard time finding anyone to just haul stuff away. You have a pickup. Start a hauling business."

Carter did as she suggested. He ran an ad in the Penny Saver, and on Craigslist. Soon, he had all the business he could handle. Between getting paid to haul off trash, and selling some of it that's too good to toss, this 18 year old kid with a pickup was suddenly making $250 a day - that's over $60,000 a year.

Our other nephew Mike, asked the same question this summer. I had just talked to a friend in her 60s who complained she was hanging clothes on her $4,000 tread mill. It occurred to me that was happening in many homes. I suggested he advertise for high end exercise equipment, and re-sell it on ebay. The first week he made $1,100 by "flipping" two treadmills on eBay.

There are hundreds if not thousands of ideas - what you can do to make yourself a profitable business fast! Why submit resumes to compete with everyone, when you can make your own future with little to none competition? The difference is just an idea away. My sons do iPhone, iPod, and iPad Repair. It is not about knowing electronics.
