My Love That Lives Though this love, for now, does not grow, it will always live! Welcome all but mostly welcome that ONE to my new adition to my page. The story behind this page began one innocent summer. That summer and the months and year following produced in my life all the hopes, dreams, love, freedom, and happiness that I had once regarded all but surely lost.
Yet, as my Mother noted once, Some things are dreamt of and brought into being...if only for a moment in time. Though this love still doth exist it now is locked hand and hand with an unknown. This page is a tribute to that love-a love that somehow survives a silence, a waiting, and a desperation that it had never known before.
Zac Speaks For those who know me or know me little you also know that I champion expression, opinion, and long honest questions and long honest answers. However, I was not born with the gift of a slick orator. I often get flustered and choked up when I speak. This is terribly furstrating for somebody who has a lot to say! But when I nail it home on a pen, what I say and feel comes out as perfect as it was when first produced in my heart. So now I am going to just shut my mouth and let my fingers do the talking for my silent heart.
A Texan's Poetry More weal and woe from my mind. These are also of my heart and soul. Poetry and writing are a couple of reasons why I am alive today. Writing is what makes me a star rather than the dark space and existing rather than nonexisting. Welcome to this page which honors freedom, God, and life.
The Road I am Welcome to one of the biggies that makes me live-traveling. Gonna share with y'all what makes me the luckiest poet/Texan in all the world.
American BeautyThe title of this page speaks for itself. I captured these photos of an American heaven while traveling through the most beautiful nation on earth. America. There are many of Texas, Rocky Mountains, Dixieland, & Maine's silver and white. The images I captured of storm clouds show that America's sky can be as beautiful as America itself. I never studied photography. It is not the talent of the photographer but the beauty captured in the photos that makes this page one of my favorites.
Photos of a Zacharias Here is my face and the faces of some of my adventures. Now that you have explored my expressions and impressions and my poetry links, here is my physical form. The least of the three that matters.
My loves and lifes Welcome to the world of Mom, Rebecca, Sammyand my other lives in this life who have been by my side in my wild journeys. These are the ones who keep promises, and love by actions not just through words.

Zacharias back then & when While rummaging through my Mom's boxes at her home a few minutes from here, I found a neat cache of photos. Some that I haven't seen in years. In these photos are some small moments when I was the smallest. Most were taken in Texas in the land I was raised and some are from my very first cross country trips. These are photos of mini-me!
My darling dogs and cats Here you will fall in love with Alastair my pug, and all his little friends. They count for 90% of my life's smiles.
Zac's Confederate Monument I am a true blue...uh grey unreconstructed rebel. Enter my world of Confederate civil war reenacting, research, and all else Confederate.
Through this site I honor the thirteen states that seceded from the U.S. and formed a country of their own, The Confederate States of America. Here I honor and respect the memory of the men and women of the South who sacrificed all but their own honor to defend their homes and independence. Enjoy and have a Dixie time!

Prayer of Saint Zacharias (Father of John the Babtist
O wise Zacharias.
You were a shining light, a seer of mysteries, bearing in yourself clearly
the signs of grace; and in God's temple, O wise Prophet
of Christ God, you were slain with the sword.
Hence, with the Forerunner,
make entreaty that our souls find salvation.
