Classes
English 11: Standard-level 11th grade English class with emphasis on American Literature, pre-college reading and writing skills, and SAT preparation. Homework, primarily reading, should be expected on a daily basis.
Critical Reading: Remedial reading for ninth and tenth grade students who have been targetted as "at risk." Reading assignments are assigned to match individual atudents' comfort level with the goal of advancing reading proficiency 2-3 grade levels. Emphasis is on reading comprehension and interpretation.
