Leicestershire Senior League
Everards Brewery Division 1
vs. Barlestone St. Giles - Away

Looking for back to back wins, FC Dynamo travelled to Barlestone St. Giles hoping to revenge their Beacon Bitter Cup exit to their hosts. Looking sharp in the first 15 minutes FC Dynamo were looking the better side until a goal, against the run of play, gave the home side a one goal advantage. A second was soon to follow when a long ball caught out the defensive line leaving the Barlestone St. Giles striker with a one on one with the FC Dynamo keeper, which he neatly despatched. The second half saw FC Dynamo have the main share of possession but with FC Dynamo pushing for a goal Barlestone scored with a well worked third goal. Although 3-0 flattered the home side, on reflection, Barlestone St. Giles took their chances when handed to them. Next a home fixture to 3rd placed Anstey Town at NSG.

Leicestershire Senior League
Everards Brewery Division 1
vs. Earl Shilton Albion - Away

A positive start by FC Dynamo, in terrible conditions, gave the management team something to smile about. With a draw, win and loss under their belts FC Dynamo were looking to bounce back from a disappointing home loss last week. With both sides struggling with the weather conditions it was FC Dynamo who looked the more dangerous and they were rewarded on the half hour with a headed goal by Joe Bancroft. On the stroke of half time Nathan Bennett was the quickest to react to a Ashley Wignall header, which struck the bar, to drill home FC Dynamo's second. FC Dynamo going in a with a worthy 2-0 lead at half time. The second 45 minutes saw more of the same pressure and a good team performance was to be rewarded with more goals. Two from Nick Gomez, a second by Nathan Bennett and a goal from top scorer Ryan Page rounded up the score, leaving Earl Shilton Albion firmly rooted to the bottom of the table. The only negative of the day was a second half injury to Liam Weekes after a late and clumsy challenge from the Earl Shilton Albion player. Next an away fixture to Barlestone St. Giles.

Leicestershire Senior League
Everards Brewery Division 1
vs. FC Kalsa - Home

Saturday saw the first home game of the season for FC Dynamo. The visitors looking for their first points of the campaign. A sizable crowd was disappointed to see FC Dynamo loose their first league game of the season. A reoccurrence of a shoulder injury to keeper Sam Major during the warm up, had Gary Smith (midfielder) wearing the number 1 shirt for a second week. FC Dynamo took a early lead and looked comfortable until two quick goals, against the run of play, saw the visitors going in at half time with a 2-1 lead. The second half saw FC Dynamo dominant in possession but lacking that finishing touch in front of goal. FC Dynamo went 3-1 down when a deflected cross ended in the back of the net , leaving Gary Smith with no chance. Still FC Dynamo battled on and a goal by Ashley Wignall, from a Ryan Page corner, gave them a glimmer of hope but it was the visitors who took their first points of the season. 26 August 2008

Beacon Bitter Cup - 2nd Round
vs.: Barlestone St. Giles - Away

A very poor 1st half performance saw FC Dynamo trailing 4 - 0 at half time. Probably the worst 45 minutes of FC Dynamo's history earned the players a well deserved ear bashing by manager Andy Noble during the break. A better second half performance by FC Dynamo showed signs of a vast improvement of team work and attitude, although the tie was as good as lost. A consolation goal from Ryan Page gave the travelling fans something to cheer about but the final score of 4-1 to Barlestone St. Giles will give the FC Dynamo management and players something to think about leading upto their first home fixture on Saturday to FC Kalsa, who are still looking for their first points of the season.

Final Score - Barlestone St. Giles 4 vs.: FC Dynamo 1

Beacon Bitter Cup - Round 1
vs. Sileby Town - Away

An evening KO at The Memorial Park, Sileby saw FC Dynamo continue with their positive attacking football. Once again the opening 45 minutes was dominated by FC Dynamo, taking the game to the home side, a half time score of 0-0 was flattering to Sileby Town. The 2nd half saw FC Dynamo rewarded with a penalty when a menacing run by Brett Sharp resulted in a clumsy challenge by the Sileby Town defender inside the box. Ryan Page confidently converted the resulting penalty. An equalising goal came when FC Dynamo's keeper collided with his own defender to gift Sileby Town with a simple tap in to bring the scores level at 1-1. The winning goal came from a corner which saw former Sileby Town player Luke Phillips rise to power home a quality header, which was equalled by his goal scoring celebration. A last minute free kick rattled FC Dynamo's cross bar, much to the relief of the onlooking supporters. FC Dynamo's reward is a 2nd round tie away to the winners of Barlestone St. Giles vs. Dunton & Broughton Rangers.

Leicestershire Senior League
Everards Brewery Division 1
vs. Friar Lane & Epworth Reserves - Away

Saturday 16th August 2008 saw the start of the Leicestershire Senior League Season 2008/09. FC Dynamo's eagerly awaited KO in Everards Brewery Division 1 saw them travel down the A6 to Friar Lane & Epworth Reserves. With a number of successful pre-season friendlies under their belts a confident and positive attitude was evident from the first whistle. A half time score of 1-1 was no reflection of FC Dynamo's first half domination. Veteran Gary ' The Chav' Rogers rifling home FC Dynamo's first Senior League goal to give them a early 1-0 lead before a rare defensive mistake gave the opposition a life line at half time. The second half had a totally different outlook with FC Dynamo struggling to find their creative first half feet. With the wind behind them Friar Lane & Epworth Reserves looked the fresher of the two sides and their reward came with a well worked second goal. Ryan Page was quickest to react to a goalkeeping error to bring the scores level at 2-2, before two excellent goals from the home sides No. 10 seemed to clinch the points for Friar Lane & Epworth Reserves. All was not lost has the introduction of two substitutes gave FC Dynamo a new lease of life. With 7 minutes left on the clock FC Dynamo dug in deep and showed great character to produce two goals from Danny Moss and Ryan Page to spoil the Friar Lane & Epworth Reserves celebrations. Points shared on the opening day gave the management team plenty to think about.

Final Score - Friar Lane & Epworth Reserves 4 vs. FC Dynamo 4
