We want to welcome you to our web site of Faith, Favour, and Fellowship. The purpose of this web site is to give a testimony to the goodness, and faithfulness of Jesus Christ, spread the gospel, and to save the lost.
Terrance and Juanita Boyer would like to thank you for visiting our web site and hearing our testimony about how God through our faith, has brought us through the most difficult year in our life. It was put on our heart by the Holy Sprit to share these events with you on the internet, because with all others content that can be found, very few talks about God's grace in life and the deliverance of his people. The following is a Summarization of just the last month of our life; we will update this web site with more details as we are led to.
While attending our church's ministry school our vision was revealed to us, (vision, which we learned in school, is God’s purpose for your life). Our vision, in so many words is that we would go into all the world, evangelize to nations, and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, so he that believes in him will be saved, (as was commission to us in MATTHEW 28:19, and MARK 16:15,16), to save the souls of the lost. Through fasting and prayer we sot an answers of what to do next, God said he wanted us to go to Africa. We thought with very little money and even less time to do either, we took the vision as afar, off not anytime soon. We would soon learn that our time is not God’s time.
No sooner than our vision was reveled to us, our family met with a tragedy. Myself, my wife and our two children, were evicted from our residence by a man that works for our leasing company. We will affectingly call him bob for easier reference. We had lived in that house for the past year, and intended on buying it. This last year has been a faith growing experience through different trials and tribulations that the enemy has put in our path, and this was a devastating blow, but with the knowledge and application of God’s word we are living proof that God will never leave you or forsake you.
Our financial situation at the time was, we were low on our finances, but all things work together for good, to them who love God, and who are called according to his purpose (ROMANS 8:28), for he knows what we have need of before we ask (MATTHEW 6:8) and provides for all our day to day needs. So with no other choice, we were asked to leave our home. We grabbed what we could carry, not having gone through this type of thing before, and left not knowing what to do next. We had no where to put our families valuables and bob changed the locks, and told us we would be charged $32.50 a day as a storage fee, to store our things until we got them out.
Displaced from our home and with no hope in sight we prayed and stood steadfast on the word of God and believed he would make a way out (PSALM 30:6). Two weeks later we called bob to find out the cost to get our possessions out of the house. Bob told us we needed to pay $398.00 in CASH, in TWO days, in order to get back in the house. I told bob, ok we would pay it, but see we had no money and no way to get it in two days, but we knew that God would, through our faith come through for us (HEBREWS 11:1).
OUR FAITH
So bob said he will be at the house on Wed at 9:00 am to open the door. So we had two days to come up with the money to get in the house. Surely we thought God would make a way for us to come up with the money. The last day came for us to either remove out things from the house or lose them, and we chose to believe the promises of God. My wife called bob about 8:15 am to see what, if anything we could do to get the stuff out of the house. She explained to bob that we were not able to come up with the money to pay him, and if there was any other way to get our things out. He said NO, that we really owed more than that, and that he was doing us a favor by only charging us $398.00, and that he would be calling a dump truck today if we didn't pay to throw all our belongings in the trash, God's supernatural favour is better than man's though.
My wife said to him, let me see if I can come up with something, bob said ok, but he was going to call the owner and see what he wants to do with everything. We could not come up with enough money, and with nothing else left to do we just prayed and thanked God that he would supply all our needs (Philippians 4:19), and in the middle of praising God for his faithfulness bob called back. He spoke to the owner of the house and he said to let us in to get all our clothes and other things out, Praise the LORD!
Bob told us we had until 5:00 pm on Wed to get everything out and whatever was left inside would be locked in and we would lose it. So we took out as much as we could before 5:00 pm, and not really having anywhere to put it, left it in the driveway. 5 came and went but bob didn’t show up. So we continued taking things out for the rest of the night. The next day we called family and friends they said we could keep some things like our TV's and other electrical things at their house, but we had a 4 bedroom home and there was so, so much more. What happen next was nothing short of a miracle, the third day with Gods favour we were blessed to get a storage pod to store what we could the rest of our things we sold, what we didn’t have room for and ended up having a total of three days to organize everything.
OUR MISSION
Let’s go back for a second to the day before all that started, while at Tuesday morning prayer we discovered that our church was preparing a mission, to Africa of all places. In January they are sending volunteers to Africa, and the sprit of the LORD spoke to us to sign up for the mission to start our vision, to spread the good news of Christ and assist our church in Africa in whatever capacity needed. We have been through all kind of trials this year, but with everything else going on in the world, we see that there are people in greater need then us, because they don’t have…..Jesus. We are fully committed to spreading the gospel and tell people about Jesus Christ. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you that you always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work (1 Corinthians 9:8)
We thank God for his favour in our lives, and for your time you took to read this, we also look forward to our future in ministry.
