Community Solar Pilot Project

Project Description: We intend to visit the lower income communities in Jersey City, New York City, and surrounding areas with funds (received via donations and fund raising events). Then with the approval of the community (signed petition), we will hire and pay solar panel installers (local to that community) to install, warranty, and maintain solar panels and battery back-up stations on the residential, commercial, and governmental buildings within these communities in an effort to provide reduced electric energy costs to those areas in need. Expansion to other areas is dependent upon the success of this pilot project and the amount of funds received.
