I. UPDATE:
Ladies and Gentlement - We have a Baby! Jadyn Lynn Eggert, 8 pounds, 11 ounces, was born at 01:14 on Thursday September 9, 2010. KeriAnn Eggert held the Grand Prize-winning time slot (1) on September 9, netting her $150.00. Josh Holm and JaNae Eggert had the surrounding time slots for the Second Prizes, (3) on September 8 and (2) on September 9, respectively. They each win $30.00. Thank you all for your entries in the pool, and we wish our best to Erik, Tracy and baby Jadyn
II. RULES:
All decisions of the Poolmeister (me, Nick Simonson) are final. The Poolmeister can be contacted with questions or clarifications at njsimonson@yahoo.com. The Poolmeister and the parents of the baby will not receive any portion of the entry fees, other than if an entry of theirs is a winning entry entitling one of them to a payout. What any prize winner does with the winnings is up to that particular prize winner.
III. DETERMINATION OF WINNERS:
The Grand Prize Winner will be the entry with the time slot encompassing the official time of birth recorded by the hospital of birth. The Grand Prize Winner will receive $150.00.
The two Second Prize Winners will be the entries with the time slots which are immediately adjacent to the time slot encompassing the official time of birth recorded by the hospital of birth. Each Second Prize Winner will receive $30.00.
If the baby is born prior to August 29, the entry arrangement for the week of August 29 will be superimposed on the week of birth, and winners will be determined based on the layout of the entries for the week of August 29.
If the baby is born after September 18, the entry arrangement for the week of September 12 will be superimposed on the week of birth, and winners will be determined based on the layout of the entries for the week of September 12.
