Football lovers now have to wait for only 28 days to observe the greatest football show on earth, The FIFA 2014 World Cup. This time it is the country known as the production house of talented Football players, the country that play football in the style of a well-known dance, ’Samba’, the country that has produced football players like Pele, Romario, Ronaldo De Lima, Ronaldhino, Roberto Carlos and many more. Brazil is hosting the Football World Cup this time. The competition is going to start from the 12th of June, with Brazil playing the opening match with Croatia. There has been a lot of controversies, problems occurring regarding the preparation of the FIFA 2014 World Cup.

Brazil is preparing to host the FIFA World Cup for the first time after 1950. The South –American nation has been plagued by mass protest, construction delays, fatal accidents ever since it started. Political debate has took place amongst Ronaldo and footballer turned politician Romario recently. The current president of  FIFA has blamed the South American country for stating the preparations “much too late”. But this has its positive sides too. As of now the Cup game is going to see the introduction of new technologies this time. Starting from the Goal line Technology(GLT), Hawk-eye, Goal Ref. The GLT system has been tested in the Last year’s confederation Cup, and now has been installed in 12 Stadiums in Brazil. The installation of this technology had become necessary after lot of controversial goals that has not been given.
