"It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are."

~E. E. Cummings

My name is Donna Miller, I will be graduating from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown this April with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. My related course of study is Public Relations.

During my undergraduate career at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, I have been able to maintain high grades while working my way through school. I have built and maintained friendly and professional relationships with peers as well as professors. I have also learned a great deal about myself personally and professionally. I am self motivated and always willing to learn and grow. I am a student that has her head on straight, one that looks to the future with bright eyes and hope. I am very determined; once I set a goal for myself I am not satisfied until it is reached.

I find value in the fact that I am a realist, I know who I am as well as what I am capable of. I challenge myself without getting in over my head. Even at my jobs now, I am quick to volunteer myself for any projects that present themselves. I can admit that sometimes I catch myself in a bind, but I am not afraid to ask questions or ask for help. I enjoy learning new things and becoming a more versatile and valued employee.

My personality has and will make me an employee that can be an asset to any company. I am easy going as well as intelligent and mindful of others. I have the charisma and self confidence to be comfortable speaking with anyone. I enjoy learning from the people I meet, even when they do not mean to teach a lesson. Managers, coworkers, and bosses alike have expressed how much they enjoy my company in the workplace.

Although obstacles are inevitable I cannot wait to see what else I am capable of in life. Beyond landing a career in my field, I want to continue growing as an individual until my metamorphosis is complete.

With this personal website I plan to professionally introduce myself to a wider audience. After years of working public part time jobs just to pay for my text books and gas to get to and from campus, I am excited to be qualified for a real career that I can be proud of. I am an extremely hardworking individual and am willing to learn, characteristics that a future employer would find valuable. I am also very down to earth; I understand the expectations and standards that I will face in the workplace as a recent graduate. I plan to meet and exceed those expectations if given a chance. Lastly, I feel that I would be an asset to any company because of my genuine personality.
