Originally Pentium 3 Xtreme's were designed as a prototype to the Pentium 4 lineup. However at the time to cut costs Intel combined their Pentium 3 Xtreme processors with their Phoenix/Intel JJ.1.1.12 Mainboard instead of the Pentium 4's JJ.2.2.12 Mainboard. The JJ.1.1.12 Mainboard was unable to handle the Pentium 3 Xtreme's power output and computers built with the JJ.1.1.12 Mainboard were burning up mainboards left and right.
Our Pentium 3 Xtreme computers are built using the stronger JJ.2.2.12 Mainboard and eureka! Perfection. I Can personally vouch for our Pentium 3 Xtreme Systems because not only is my Personal Gaming Computer one but my 4 Downloading Servers are and even our 3 Office Computers and 2 Personal Computers. I Prefer the Pentium 3 Xtreme because no matter what I throw at them, THEY WONT DIE!
