A Clipping Path (CP) is a shape that acts like an outline mask, everything inside the shape exhibits and anything outer surface does not. It is a very helpful way of displaying just the right pieces of designs that you want to display. It can be done through masking out an off the point background or focusing on a particular portion of a larger image. CP is commonly used to manage text wrap around any image.

Creating Clipping Path (CP) in Photoshop:

Creating CP in Photoshop is very simple if you do this with ease. A path refers to a selection, which you can do with any of the Photoshop selection tool, but it is better to do it with a hand tool/pen tool. After making the selection, here is given how to make the path:

At first open the Photoshop paths section by selecting Window > Paths. After that choose Make Work Path. At this point you will be asked to choose a tolerance setting in pixels—remember the lesser the number wil be , the better the path’s shape. Now click OK. Here a work path will appear in the paths section, screening in the white area contained by the path. Double click the work path in the panel or choose Save Path in the menu. Give the pathway a name and click OK. Now choose Clipping Path from the menu. You will be asked to choose which path to apply as a clipping path Click OK.

Well that’s it! The most tricky part is creating the selection area to start with.Currently any graphics that you want to have fit in an uneven figure come with their own clipping paths. In that condition, you first be sure to import the clipping path when you position the graphic.

Using Clipping Path as a Mask:

To use CP for masking out any part of an image, at first you need to convert the clipping path to a frame and that outline afterward masks out everything that doesn't fit inside it.

The method is very easy and simple: First of all select the path with the selection tool and choose Object > Clipping Path > Convert Clipping Path to Frame; but it is always a better decision to sign up with a specialized clipping path company for professional editing. So, there will be fewer chances of error. Review their work samples and free trials before making orders.
