A Courtesan was originally a female courtier,
which means a person who attends the court of a
monarch or other person of power.
In Renaissance usage, the Italian word, "cortigiana,"
came to refer to, " the ruler's mistress,
then to a well-educated and independent woman of free morals...
I have always been fascinated by a woman who could
enthrall by her intellect and mere looks alone
in any given circumstance.
A woman who understands that her own power
came from within.
Cleopatra had this as well as Aspasia.
Beauty, by dictionary standards is a combination of qualities,
such as shape, color, form,
that which pleases the aesthetic senses, especially sight.
It is the combination of all this that I find myself
a Courtesan of Cosmetics.
Not bound to one brand or trend, but a mistress to many
beauty names both domestic and foreign.
Free to co mingle and taste the pleasures that one
company may offer compared to another.
A woman is not defined by one thing
but a culmination of many things...
