No doubt Berlin has been a notorious city for its great standards and other attractions that have been a major pull among all tourists doing their first or fourth time. Berlin, better known as the capital city of German, is flooded with several highlights that no traveler with a keen interest in checking out sights and sounds would ever want to go disregarded. From art galleries, monuments to museums and restaurants to night clubs, there’s something for traveler of any age group, as obvious as it can be, but you have to make the obvious find its way to your memories you shall be leaving with on the final day.

Berlin really had me hooked. It really did!

When I was about to kiss goodbye to Berlin until the next time maybe, I wished if time could come to a still, and I shall remain among the proud and friendly Berliners living a lifetime’s worth, but I was bound to hop on from one journey to another come what may. And I always believed in playing safe, so I booked a flight ahead of time. I knew that wanderers like me would be hunting cheap flights to Berlin for a journey so magical, so I thought that it’d be wise to grab one much before I began recognising myself a bargain hunter. Who would not want to?

The tourist attractions had me from head to toe at the very first sight. And some of them are.

1. Reichstag    (Parliament Building)

A historical building standing with enormous pride in the German capital cannot be missed no matter what. One of the top tourist attractions in Berlin opened way back in 1894, the Reichstag building, was built for the meeting place of the German government. The building’s large glass dome offers a breathtaking 360 degree view of bordering Berlin cityscape after the sundown.

2. Checkpoint Charlie Museum

Known as the Mauermuseum, this museum is one of the main highlights in the city tempting every tourist to give a touch of discovery. This museum got its name from the well-known crossing checkpoint between East and West Germany, and among its interesting displays, you would find Berlin Wall’s history and also tales of those who escaped from East Germany. This museum is a must-visit.

3. Brandenburg Gate

One of the most important monuments and the German capital’s most well-known landmark, the Brandenburg Gate was built as a symbol of peace in the 18th century. This magnificently built gate was badly damaged during the World War II but was restored by Berlin Monument Conservation Foundation way back in 2002.

4. Charlottenburg Palace

The Charlottenburg Palace, located in the Charlottenburg district, is one of the top-notch tourist attractions catching the fancy of every tourist whether from the UK or some other country. The largest palace of Berlin is supposedly the only surviving royal residence.
