Mission

Technology is an essential component of the mission of the Burlington Technology Department. We are committed to ensure that every graduate of Burlington High School has the technology skills necessary to both create and compete in the 21st century. Our basic goal is the integration of technology into our teaching, research and service activities where appropriate.

To this end:

The Burlington Technology Department will prepare graduates who are able to integrate technology into their professional activities in accordance with district, state and national standards.

The Burlington Technology Department, as part of its research mission, will provide leadership in the development, implementation and assessment of technology for use in educational and other related settings.

The Burlington Technology Department  will serve as a community resource for professional development on the use of technology in aspects of the educational process including integration of technology in the classroom and use of technology by educational administrators.
