Welcome to Chiloe

Chiloe is a place that I have always wanted to visit for as long as I can remember.  I had read about Charles Darwin spending time there and knew that I wanted to visit.  Unfortunately we only had a day there and all it did was made me anxious to get back and spend at least a couple of weeks there.  We visited the northern coast of Chiloe, visiting places like Chacao, Ancud and the penguin sanctuary.  Being on Chiloe is almost like going back in time.  Sure, there are cars there as well as towns but its like being in a small seaside village.  After you leave the towns, you may pass cows grazing on the side of the road or families travelling in a horse and cart.
