We are a couple that came out of abuse and are living a transformed life through the power of God's love, help from friends and the assistance of counseling services from SACE, The Edmonton Family Violence Centre, The Support Network and prayer. When we understood that we enjoy going out as a couple to build up our relationship, we came up with the idea to host events that are fun and safe, while giving the opportunity to create awareness for people in our society that still struggle with life. It is our way to give back, for the rich blessings we have received.
What we do has evolved over the years. And we enjoy all the connections we are making through our prayer shawl ministry, event planning, the warming bus for homeless people, the women shelter support. To finance what we give away, without competing for other financial donations for similar projects, we will now start to offer event decoration services throughout the warmer month. The time we put in, is volunteered and the proceeds generated go back to fund things like fuel for the warming bus, purchase of clothing, food and so on.
We are just re-doing our website and are moving into our office in Spruce Grove.
