Welcome to The Capital Wing Tour! The main focus of this blog is a chicken wing tour that we recently started in search of the best wings in New York’s Capital District! Being passionate about chicken wings and also the fact that it’s impossible to not want them at any given time (even when you’re already full from that Thanksgiving feast!), it just feels right to seek out, and give recognition to, that perfect wing. Or to know what you’re getting on any random day when maybe you want that particular wing with a certain flavor or texture.
Most posts will be The Capital Wing Tour but you’ll find from time to time that our adventures take us away from Capital and those posts will be “The traveling wing tour.” Keep in mind, there are other foods to try besides chicken wings (what?! I know, I know… Chicken wings are in a food group and a class all their own but I don’t make these menus, I just order from them.) When I dare to eat anything other than our beloved chicken wings, those posts will be dubbed “The Detour.”
