THE 4 C'S

How would someone determine the price of a diamond? Well the answer is right here! Throughout the use of the 4 C's people are able to know approximately how much a diamond would cost. The four C's are known as cut, carat, clarity, and color. The 4C's is a method where any diamond quality can be examined. When you look into a diamond your eyes recognize the balance of it's components and characteristic, just like meeting someone new. There is no limit to how the 4C's can be utilized through the diamond industry.

CUT

The most complex out of all four. To this is still manual work, done by an expert. If a diamond has a good cut, it will reflect light, but if it’s cut badly, the light will not reflect entirely and exit from the bottom of the diamond. What is important is that the cut will be the focal point of your diamond selection. The cut is an important part of the diamond and catches everyone's eyes.

COLOR

The color of the diamond can also has an impact on its price. A diamond’s color is rated on a scale from D (no color) to Z (yellow). The most expensive diamonds are the colorless ones or the ones with a vibrant color, like red, blue or even yellow. Color grades for diamonds are different than "white" diamonds.

CLARITY

Clarity looks over the diamonds quality. It is determined by the specific characteristics found inside of the diamond, such as scratches, shapes, how clean, and more. The diamond is reviewed by an expert for affirmation and that there is no problem. You would need more than a certificate to make sur the diamond has been checked over.

CARAT

Carat is the weight of the diamond. Depending on the diamond's size, shape, and how it is cut, the weight would be different. Carat weight should be taken into consideration when buying a diamond. The brightness and glamour of the diamond will take over. Lowering your carat can be taken into consideration when purchasing a diamond.

A diamond should be taken care of very carefully. Make sure they are shining brighter than ever.
