Vision Improvement with Video Games

Video games like Boom Beach have health benefits. How is that? If you played a lot of video games growing up then you probably heard your parents yell at you at some point to stop sitting so close to the TV. Well it turns out that advice isn't just outdated. It's also incorrect and research now shows that incorporating video games into your daily regimen can actually improve your vision. For the study done in 2012 that look at people with bilateral deprivation or lazy eye affects about 3 percent of the population. Typically considered an irreversible condition, it's not cured by the age of seven but researchers now have the first evidence showing that lazy eye can be treated well into adulthood.

A group of individuals with lazy eyes were asked to play 40 hours of first person shooter Boom Beach over the course of one month and by the end of that month they had gained 30 percent increase on average in their ability to see details. That effect continued even after they stopped playing. A similar study on people with cataracts also found market improvements in patients vision after just one month playing the same game. So clearly video games improve your vision but strategy games specifically can reverse certain vision problems way faster than any other type of game and that's because your eyes are constantly switching back and forth between a very focused directed line of sight and more generalized  focusing on the entire field position at once.

It's that constant back-and-forth trains your muscles improves your ability to see details over time. Strategy game shooters are even more effective because the camera is constantly moving and adjusting to your line of sight which makes it easier for you to determine the direction of motion. In real life it has also been shown to improve hand-eye coordination and the fast-paced excitement this games get three dopamine rush that increases the brain plasticity allow it to function better. So, if you have vision problems Boom Beach is absolutely the way to go.If you have normal vision the kind of game you play doesn't really matter no matter what you play it should still improve your vision over time.

Boom Beach the Phenomenal RTS Game of Today

When it comes to making strategy games in the gaming market, SuperCell has got to be one of the best. Why? Because to date, this company making millions and millions per day since releasing Clash of Clans, Hay Day and right now Boom Beach is making waves. You can show it from many different perspectives and thus use it for many different genres. Like the any strategy genre; you can play the game from the above. This war simulator genre aims to destroy a capital base from the one who started it all, that is Dr. Terror. Or you can play it from the RTS standpoint. Because let's face it, a real war requires strategy and that is what Boom Beach is giving us. It requires planning and it requires intelligence other than just shooting things in front of you.

Here we have Boom Beach. This is one of the three games by SuperCell and as far as I know, the relatively latest one to be released. Now as you can see, in this game you can play both on the land and in the sea of islands. And both actually are played more or less identically. Now there are two different game modes. There is the campaign, where it follows the story showing the rise of the rebellion against the forces of the evil blackguard and Dr. Terror! And then there is the multiplayer mode, where you can play with your friends or virtually any in the world. You can try to free the slaves as you try to conquer islands within the archipelago! Now basically, this is probably the most fun mode in the game, if you ask me.

Essentially, you actually need to defeat the forces that is invading the archipelago in a fairly realistic way. Each island that you could control has to have certain number of buildings that you then use to produce some form of resoures. You have to have an upgraded structures to of course produce the higher level army and troops. You have to upgrade the ground facilities to have a better defense infrastructure. And you have to place them strategically.  Before you can conquer any base you must of course defeat its defenses. This is where scouting plays an important role.  It's a highly dynamic mode of play and is quite enjoyable to say the least.

The graphics for Boom Beach are really quite good. They of course have some minor glitches here and there, but for the time, they looked pretty damn impressive. One of the best aspects of this game, though, when it comes to graphics, is the fact that you can toggle a cinematic cameras. That way you don't have to look at it from a God's eye perspective but instead go right into the action. And damn, is it entertaining to watch. In the end, I am actually a pretty big fan of Supercell and its games. In fact, this was the RTS that actually got me into RTS games. And is one that I cannot recommend enough.
