- The Lutheran Church is based on 3 principles - Grace Alone, Faith Alone, and Scripture Alone. - The Lutheran Church is a Christ-Preaching church which teaches that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God. Through his death and resurrection, we have forgiveness of sins and everlasting life. - We are also a bible-teaching church. We believe that the bible is God-inspired, and that it guides us in Christian faith and life. - The Lutheran Church is also an evangelical church, dedicated to spreading the Gospel or Good News of our Savior, Jesus Christ. - Our emphasis is on God's love and forgiveness for us as shown through the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of his son, Jesus Christ. - The Lutheran Church is a church that cares for people and offers love, support, fellowship, and good counsel to others. - We are a liturgical church, in that we use liturgy in worship to help us confess our sins before God and receive his forgiveness, praise God and thank him, ask God for strength, peace and blessings, hear God's word being spoken, and learn about God given promises and directives for our daily lives. - The Lutheran Church is a sacramental church. We believe that through the sacraments of Baptism and Lord's Supper, we attain God's forgiveness in a tangible way.
